I earned my BS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University and completed my supervised practice hours through The University of Northern Colorado. I have been working as an RD for the past 7 years with a focus on supporting individuals with eating disorders, disordered eating, and those looking to improve their overall relationship with food. My clinical experience encompasses working with individuals with eating disorders at all levels of care. I have worked at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders, a dedicated ICU for eating disorder patients, at the Eating Recovery Center at their inpatient, residential, and PHP levels of care, and in the outpatient setting at a small private practice. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals struggling with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, and ARFID and have worked with children and adolescents, young adults, and adults. I also specialize in supporting athletes who are wanting to improve both their relationship with food and their athletic performance through proper fueling.
I love working to support people in reshaping their relationship with food. I truly believe food can be a neutral part of everyone’s lives, one in which they are able to eat in a way that is satisfying, enjoyable, and supportive of their individual goals. Food is not meant to be something we fear, it is a tool to help us live our most fulfilling lives. Helping people break up with diet culture, heal their relationship with food, and shift into a mindset of using food to fuel their lives is what I love most about my job as an RD.
When I am not supporting my clients, I love being outside. As a former college athlete finding ways to be active is a huge part of my life. I love skiing, mountain biking, camping, and trail running with my pup Luna. I also enjoy getting to spend quality time with my family and friends over board games, great movies, and tasty meals.
"There is no “one size fits all” approach when supporting my clients. Each person’s relationship with food is unique and I believe in meeting individuals where they are at and creating goals specific to their needs. I have a kind yet direct approach to my nutrition counseling style, providing guidance, accountability and support. I practice from an “all foods fit” mentality and believe a neutral, balanced, and flexible relationship with food is possible for everyone."
