Patrick Traynor, RD
Background
Dr. Patrick Traynor earned his PHD from UC Riverside, his MPH from UC Berkeley with a concentration in nutrition, his BS from UC Davis with a double major in nutrition and entomology, and his RD through Iowa State University.
He has served on the Childhood Nutrition Advisory Council for the California Department of Education and has been the Education coordinator for Behavioral Health Nutrition, which is part of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics.
He has been a biology professor at Brandman university and has been published and is an expert in behavior management, particularly with children.
Dr. Traynor, practicing dietetics for years, has earned a certificate in weight loss management for obesity and overweight in adults and pediatrics.
He writes for the weekly newspaper, Tahoe Tribune, in areas including diabetes, anemia, sports nutrition, and the like. He is well versed in many areas and practices in them all.
