I am originally from Pennsylvania, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lehigh University. I then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue my Master of Public Health from Emory University and a few years later, my Master of Science in Nutrition at Georgia State University. In my practice, I specialized in disordered eating and eating disorder recovery as well as sports nutrition. I provide nutrition education and counseling to help individuals improve their relationship with food, exercise and their body. I work with adults and teens of all genders. My mission is to provide others with education, tools and resources that they need to feel capable of managing the pressures of diet culture. My counseling style centers around a Health at Every Size approach and incorporates the principles of Intuitive Eating. When I'm not working, Erika enjoys exploring the mountains, being outside, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and dog.
"I specialize in eating disorder and disordered eating recovery. I also work with athletes and active individuals looking to improve nutrition for their performance. In my practice, I promote a non-diet approach. Diets are proven to not only be unhelpful, but also ultimately leave people in a worse space mentally and physically. My focus is on building a strong relationship with food, exercise and body."
