Background

Nicole is a registered dietitian with her Master’s degree in public health nutrition, a certified Health and Well-being coach, and certified personal trainer.

As a former dancer, her love of movement led her into a career as a personal trainer. Through her work, she recognized a need for a discussion about food and how it impacts everything from performance to health. She went back to school to become a registered dietitian and began her career integrating both nutrition and physical activity.

In her 15 years as a dietitian, she has worked with a variety of medical nutrition clients, actors, dancers, and Olympic athletes. Nicole has expertise is sports and human performance nutrition, as well as clinical experience working with perimenopausal and menopausal women and patients who want to eliminate or reduce health complications caused by overweight/obesity (i.e. orthopedic pain, arthritis, pre-diabetes, and hypertension).

You can expect to leave sessions with a feeling of empowerment about what to do and 'why'. After your sessions with Nicole, you will have a greater appreciation for your body and all of its wonders, you will be confident navigating the confusing nutrition landscape, and you will be equipped to adapt your nutrition goals with life and its ever-changing demands. When Nicole isn't working, she is bike riding around NYC, laughing with friends, or cuddling with her cat.

Approach

"My approach is adaptable, but my goal is the same: to help you become very clear on what you want from your health, why it’s important to you, and how to get there. I use information from scientific literature, as well as examples from my 15 years as a practicing dietitian, to help you expand your nutrition and health knowledge. We then work together to establish sustainable changes you can make to live a healthier, more energetic, and vibrant life."
