Hello! I’m Julie Tang, a registered dietitian and also a certified nutrition support clinician. I am based in Los Angeles, however, I offer virtual appointments at this time. I love helping people discover and maintain a healthful diet and lifestyle that can not only prevent disease, but also promote a happy mind, body and spirit. Whether you are new or experienced to nutrition counseling, I welcome you wherever you are in your journey.
I have 9+ years of providing nutrition education, medical nutrition therapy and consulting across diverse settings. I specialize in healthy & sustainable weight management, preventative health and/or those with pre-existing diagnoses such as diabetes, hypertension, gout, certain GI conditions and cardiovascular conditions. I’m deeply committed to supporting my clients on this transformative journey by sharing evidence-based nutrition information, navigating through challenges together and creating a personalized action plan. Together, we will learn what are the right foods for your body, strategize how to shed bad dietary habits and learn to adopt new healthy habits. I prioritize creating a safe and nonjudgmental space and I take the time to get to know you so that our sessions are tailored to your personal goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy eating good food, cooking, reading or listening to podcasts, traveling, and attempting arts and craft. I’m a mom to three little girls and everyday is a wild adventure (and did I mention some days are filled with toddler food pickiness?)
