Amy Ellithorpe-Bruant is a public health dietitian who specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating and selective eating behaviors. Amy employs a dynamic approach to nutrition therapy, always considering clients' lifestyles and environments. Amy focuses on personal empowerment, education, and self-worth to facilitate sustainable behavior change. Her goal is to understand the root causes of nutrition-related concerns and collaborate with clients for achievable emotional and behavioral goals.
Amy received her MPH in Nutrition at New York University and has been spending her years as a dietitian supporting adults, adolescents and children through the struggles of eating disorders, disordered eating and selective eating. Amy loves supporting clients in their pursuit to achieve a trusting relationship with themselves and with food.
In her spare time, Amy loves traveling with her husband, camping and hiking and reading a good book. Amy believes the meaning of life lies in supporting each other through love. This philosophy led her to a career in dietetics, viewing food as a universal language that connects us all. Amy is grateful for the opportunity to support people in nourishing their bodies and lives. As a result, she established ÂME Nutrition Counseling, where she aims to provide soul-nourishing nutrition guidance and education to every client.
