Angelique Lewis-Jones, RD

Angelique Lewis-Jones has been a Registered (RDN), Licensed (LDN)dietitian for over 25 years.  Angelique completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a Minor in Business Management from Hunter College in New York City and briefly attended NYU University. 

 Angelique is originally from the island of Trinidad & Tobago and attended school transcontinental travelling back and forth from Trinidad and the United States. After marriage she then relocated to Philadelphia in 1994 where her management career soared. In 2003 her husband and her relocated to Huntersville North Carolina where she now resides with her family of 6; husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a snake (yes, a snake). 

Currently, employed with Fresenius Medical Care, Angelique previously held a chairperson position as a board member of John C Smith University’s Breast feeding and lactation committee. In addition, to a chairperson position with the North Carolina Council of Renal Nutrition for 2 years and a committee member/ chairperson of UNCF for 10 years for the Charlotte, North Carolina chapter serving under privileged residents obtain college scholarships.

 Angelique’s passion is to educate and empower the people she serves. Being an active member of the Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition for over 25 years, she also remains an active participant of the National Organization of Blacks in Dietetics and Nutrition. Her aspirations are to serve communities of need through providing nutrition education, presentations, developing community health fairs, public speaking and most recently becoming a marketing representative for employees new to Fresenius Medical Care.
