Carolina Szlufman, RD

Carolina is a highly experienced Registered Dietitian, licensed in both Florida and New York, specializing in providing evidence-based nutritional guidance tailored to each individual's unique needs. Her approach emphasizes sustainable, long-term nutrition strategies, focusing on education about the nutritional content of food and enhancing diets by adding and replacing rather than removing and depriving. Carolina empowers clients with the tools to make informed dietary choices, fostering a positive and enjoyable relationship with food.

Originally from Argentina and raised in Miami, Carolina developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and cuisines. She earned her degree in Dietetics from the University of Florida and completed her dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. During her time at the hospital, Carolina gained extensive experience managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney disease, hepatic disorders, and bariatric cases. Her fellowship in Intensive Care at NewYork-Presbyterian provided her with invaluable expertise in critical care nutrition, where she worked with critically ill patients, optimizing their nutritional status to improve outcomes. Notably, she contributed to the care of 200+ ICU patients, significantly enhancing their recovery processes through meticulously crafted nutrition plans.
