I am a dedicated Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience helping individuals manage chronic conditions through nutrition including chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and heart disease. I have a robust background in both outpatient and inpatient nutrition care and offer a wealth of knowledge from both settings. With twelve years of experience in outpatient dialysis, I was tasked with managing multiple and complex chronic conditions of my patient population. Additionally, having three years of background in the hospital setting, I provided nutrition care in various areas of expertise, including cardiac rehabilitation, bariatrics, weight loss, and oncology.
Along with my primary clinical experiences, I have an intense passion for prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum nutrition, fueled by my personal journey as a mother of three. During my career, I’ve completed extensive training in motivational interviewing, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level and empower them to make lasting changes in their health. I have a rooted passion and belief that all foods fit, and there are no fad diets in my therapeutic approach.
In my private practice, my goal is to help clients achieve optimal health and well-being through tailored nutrition strategies and ongoing empathetic support. I am committed to providing individualized nutrition and lifestyle counseling of each client, compassionately acknowledging and conquering together the many challenges that come along the way.
In addition to my clinical work history, I hold a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Penn State University. I completed my clinical internship program as a Registered Dietitian eligible at the University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, strength training exercise, running, and spending quality time with my family. I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and those seeking guidance on their nutrition journey.
