Background

Nutrition Therapy should be a collaborative process that centers on an individual’s goals, needs, and values.  I am committed to providing autonomy-centered and individualized care to help clients heal.

Hello, I'm Emma (she/her), a Registered Dietitian licensed in the states of Georgia and Massachusetts. Since getting my degree back in 2015, I've lived in Seattle, NYC, Mexico City, Athens & Atlanta, Georgia and worked in public and private healthcare settings. I specialize in Eating Disorders but also enjoy working with others who want to heal their relationship with food and body and/or improve their eating pattern.

Delving into this work can be scary. I aim to provide a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space for all clients. Eating Disorders do not discriminate: they can affect anyone with a body, and in my work I’ve encountered clients at the intersections of various identities and backgrounds. My work as a Dietitian for the Rainbow Road program also serves as a testament to my commitment to meeting the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

I support clients with…

Eating Disorders: Outpatient Support for Adolescents and Adults diagnosed with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, or OSFED.

Disordered Eating: An alternative framework to dieting for those who want to heal a complicated relationship with food and body.

Chronic Health Conditions: Help managing a digestive disorder, Diabetes, PCOS or other conditions through a weight- neutral lens.

I started my nutrition journey as someone interested in farming… being an advocate for sustainable agriculture was going to be my contribution to society.  While I’ll always have a soft spot for animal husbandry, I stumbled across another initiative that was gaining steam while studying nutrition at Bastyr University in Washington state: The Health At Every Size movement (or HAES). This was occurring at the intersection of feminism, social justice, health advocacy and nutrition science and I fell in love. From there I was guided to work with eating disorders where I also loved the emphasis on psychology, systems, and emotions surrounding food, as well as the one-on-one relationship building I got to do with clients.

I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
