Joseph Tintera, RD

Hello! I'm Joe and I've been a practicing Registered Dietitian for nearly 10 years now. I studied at both Southeast Missouri State and Fontbonne University where I completed both my Bachelor's in Nutrition & Dietetics and Master's in Multidisciplinary Health Communications along with completing my dietetic internship.

I have experience in general outpatient and inpatient care through my early career. These opportunities allowed me time to work with a wide range of nutrition therapy needs supporting those with goals such as blood sugar control, cholesterol or hypertension management, NAFLD, kidney disease, oncology, amongst others.

Since then I’ve transitioned to a more specialized role within a bariatric weight loss clinic and have been specializing in weight management for 5+ years now. Currently working towards earning my CSOWM (Certified Specialist in Obesity & Weight Management). I also have a personal interest in sports/performance nutrition and am very comfortable supporting these needs as well.
