Hi, I’m Kenneth Massie, MS, RDN, CDN. With more than 20 years of clinical nutrition and counseling experience, I help people improve their health without the stress of perfection.
If you have ever felt frustrated by losing and regaining weight, confused by conflicting diet advice, or guilty about eating the foods you love, you are in the right place. My goal is to simplify the process, identify what is getting in your way, and build a structured, practical plan that fits your real life.
A major focus of my practice is sustainable weight loss and weight management. I help clients move away from restrictive dieting and instead build long-term habits around balanced eating, portion awareness, mindful eating, meal planning, accountability, and consistency.
I also support clients with diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cardiovascular health, GERD, Crohn’s disease, colitis, IBD, food allergies and sensitivities, bariatric nutrition, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, and improving their relationship with food.
During our sessions, you can expect a supportive, honest, and down-to-earth experience. There is zero judgment — only a plan built around your goals, schedule, food preferences, medical needs, and daily routine.
Together, we may work on practical meal planning, grocery navigation, label reading, realistic goal setting, lab review, supplement guidance, weight-loss medication support, mindful eating, and strategies to improve consistency.
I am also expanding my practice by working toward an accredited personal training/fitness certification in New York. This will allow me to better connect nutrition with safe, sustainable movement to support strength, lean body mass, metabolism, and long-term weight management.
I hold a Master of Science in Medical Biology and Nutritional Science and bring decades of clinical nutrition, food service leadership, counseling, and patient-centered care experience to every session. I stay current with evidence-based research and best-practice guidelines so my recommendations are both scientifically sound and practical for everyday life.
Outside of work, I enjoy acrylic pour painting, often finished with a glossy resin coat. It keeps me creative and grounded, and it reminds me that wellness is about more than food — it is also about balance, confidence, movement, joy, and finding what helps you feel your best.

My approach is realistic, compassionate, and personalized. I do not believe in fad diets, shame-based counseling, or one-size-fits-all meal plans.
Together, we will break your goals into manageable steps and focus on the “why” behind your nutrition choices. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling clearer, more confident, and fully supported.
Nutrition does not have to be overwhelming. Together, we can make it practical, personal, and achievable.
