A little bit about me: Nicolette Alfonso, MS, RD, CSO
I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) with over 4 years of specialized practice experience providing personalized and evidence based nutrition therapy. I have obtained both my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science at Florida International University in Nutrition and Dietetics. Throughout my career, I have been able to undergo clinical training at Baptist Health Hospital of South Florida where I am currently a Clinical Dietitian. I have also completed continuing education in areas such as oncology, nutrition support, gastroenterology, obesity, and disordered eating.
My passion for nutrition started in my early teens after undergoing treatment for an eating disorder. My dietitian at the time helped me rebuild my relationship with food and fostered a love for health and nutrition that I had never experienced before. Now, I am lucky enough to share my love for all things health and nutrition while also helping clients create balanced and long lasting healthy lifestyles.
Fun Facts: I love ALL animals and have a 10 year old rescued dog named Raya! I am also a ceramic artist with a small in-home studio where I create handmade vessels, dinnerware, and trinkets.
