Hello! My name is N'Keyma and I am a Registered Dietitian. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Fort Valley and completed my dietetic internship at Southern University and A&M College.
My passion for nutrition was first sparked through the 4-H Club where I gained immeasurable experience in competing in district achievement projects in culinary and curating healthy-living habits. Through my experience, I’ve gained organization, communication, and creativity skills that have helped expand my skills as a dietitian today.
I have over 7 years of work experience in the field of nutrition. I have a background in both community and clinical experience. I have experience as a nutritionist with the Georgia Department of Public Health working with infants, children, and women, as a clinical dietitian in acute and long-term care, and with adolescents with eating disorders.
I specialize in meal planning, eating disorders using the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework, and maternal, children, adolescents, and general nutrition. I fundamentally believe in a non-diet approach and achieving goals by moderation, variation, and balance.
As a registered dietitian, one of my greatest strengths is building a rapport with my clients. I focus on patient-centered focus to help my clients feel at ease. Working with me is a judgment-free zone.
My ultimate goal is to encourage individuals to push themselves and accept challenges to achieve the goals they set for themselves. There is no singular direction in striving for greatness. I tailor the needs that best fit the individual.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, finding new micro hobbies, trying new restaurants near and far, and catching up on reality TV shows.
