Rochel Weber is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a robust background in food and nutrition. With a dual academic foundation in both Human Environmental Science and Liberal Arts, Rochel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and Excelsior College, respectively, specializing in Food and Nutrition. Throughout her education and career, Rochel has developed a deep understanding of how nutrition impacts health and wellness across various life stages.
After completing her education, Rochel began her professional journey at Hamilton Grove Nursing Facility, where she served as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from August 2018 to March 2020. In this role, she was responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing personalized care plans, and providing education to patients and staff on proper nutrition and diet modifications. Rochel also oversaw food service operations, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and maintaining high standards for meal quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Since March 2020, Rochel has owned and operated Whole and Healthy Dietary Counseling, a private practice offering personalized dietary counseling and medical nutrition therapy to clients. In this role, she assists clients in achieving their health and wellness goals by creating customized meal plans and providing ongoing education and support. Rochel also manages insurance billing and claims, handles appointment scheduling, and ensures high-quality care with a focus on client empowerment.
As part of her commitment to continuous professional growth, Rochel has earned advanced certifications, including being a Prenatal Dietitian and a Fertility Dietitian, both awarded by the Early Life Nutrition Alliance in 2023.
Earlier in her career, Rochel gained valuable hands-on experience during internships at Care One at Jackson and Ahuva Kutner Nutrition. At Care One, she worked closely with the Registered Dietitian and Food Service Director to assess patient nutritional needs, improve meals, and deliver nutrition education to elderly residents. At Ahuva Kutner Nutrition, she provided dietary counseling, including nutritional assessments, meal planning, education, and insurance documentation.
