Throughout my career as a registered dietitian I have worked in various areas of nutrition and dietetics. From hospitals and long term care to outpatient medically supervised weight loss and even an adjunct professor for a local university.
It is through my own lived experiences that I found my passion in women's health. Diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis in 2020 after over a decade of looking for answers, I used food as medicine to support my recovery and continue to successfully manage my chronic inflammatory condition to this day with diet and lifestyle.
My diet philosophy is one that focuses on getting to the root of your problems. Around here we don't guess, we test. I employ a full-360 degree approach that includes traditional and functional lab testing, medication and supplement reviews, nutrition analysis, and lifestyle assessment.
When you work with me, you can put your fears of judgement, restriction, and guilt to rest. Fad diets? We don't know her. Here at Sunshine State Nutrition and Wellness, we believe food is both fuel and fun. We believe joy is a nutrient. We believe a healthy diet comes in many forms because just like jeans, a diet isn't 'one size fits all'.
As my client, expect to be educated and empowered about your health. Expect actionable to-dos to help you reach your longterm goals with confidence. Expect a co-pilot on your journey to your best quality of life, inside and out.
As a courtesy and to make sure we're the "perfect match", I offer free 15-minute consultations for all potential clients.
