Lisa is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has a passion for helping people achieve the healthiest version of themselves. She works with her clients to create a highly personalized plan towards improved wellness. She is also an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner which allows her to help clients address the root cause of a health issue using a holistic approach.
Lisa specializes in digestive disorders, such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, and colitis, as well as weight management, diabetes, and heart disease. Lisa has utilized evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies to overcome her own symptoms of IBS and enjoys helping others free themselves of negative GI symptoms to enhance quality of life. Improving digestive health results in other health improvements as the gut is related to all other systems in the body. Experiencing her own health improvements using nutrition and lifestyle strategies has motivated Lisa to follow a life-long career in helping others do the same.
Lisa obtained her B.S. degree in dietetics from the University of Wisconsin and M.S. degree in nutrition from the University of Minnesota. She has earned a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management (Level 1 & 2) and a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. With over 20 years of experience as a dietitian, she now meets with clients virtually (1:1 and groups), has been a guest on podcasts, and speaks on various health topics locally. For fun, Lisa enjoys traveling, taking long walks outside with her husband and dog, and spending time with friends or family around the fire pit.
