I’m Alexandra, a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian with over 12 years of working alongside individuals who are striving to improve their health through personalized, weight-neutral nutrition care. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that all bodies—regardless of size or shape—deserve respect, nourishment, and support. I firmly reject the idea that health is determined by a number on the scale, and instead, I focus on fostering sustainable habits that promote overall well-being.
My journey into the world of nutrition began with a deep desire to help others heal, thrive, and feel empowered in their relationships with food and their bodies. Over time, I became increasingly aware of the harm caused by restrictive diets and the constant pressure to pursue weight loss at any cost. This led me to explore a more holistic, inclusive approach to care. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and a yoga instructor, I now combine evidence-based nutrition science with mindfulness and body awareness. My practice is about more than just what we eat—it's about how we feel, think, and live.
A significant focus of my work is supporting women in midlife as they navigate the complex transition of perimenopause and menopause. I understand the physical and emotional challenges that come with this life stage, and I aim to help women move through it with strength, confidence, and grace. Whether it’s managing hormonal changes, understanding shifting nutritional needs, or learning how to reconnect with a body that feels unfamiliar, I offer compassionate, informed guidance tailored to each individual.
In my clinical practice, I provide medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, digestive issues like reflux, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as renal disease. I understand that every person’s experience is unique, and I strive to deliver care that is both evidence-based and personalized. Whether I’m helping someone balance their blood sugar, lower their cholesterol, improve digestion, or preserve kidney function, my approach always starts with listening—truly hearing each person’s concerns, goals, and lived experiences.
I am deeply committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space where all individuals feel seen, heard, and respected. I meet my clients where they are, offering education, encouragement, and practical tools that empower them to make choices that align with their values and support long-term health. My ultimate goal is to help people feel confident in nourishing their bodies—free from guilt, shame, or fear.
Outside of my nutrition work, I find joy and balance in moving my body through nature and hanging out with my children and chickens.
