Credentials: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Nutritional Sciences both from The University of Michigan. I have been a practicing Registered Dietitian since 2022 and have experience in both clinical and outpatient settings.
Personal: I competed in bodybuilding in the National Physique Committee in 2017 which helped me further develop my passion for nutrition and how diet and lifestyle truly influence health status and physique. After that extreme, I had to heal my gut and hormonal health, regain healthy weight and find sustainability in my lifestyle.
My Coaching Style: Education first! Then, In order to make progress towards your goals, we need to monitor/track some metric(s). Trackable metrics can include body weight, progress pictures, calorie/macronutrient counting, and/or habit tracking. I usually start with my customizable habit tracker, which includes 3-5 healthy habits you will track on a daily basis. Once the habits come second nature to you, we move onto the next phase which is usually tracking total protein and ultimately, tracking your caloric intake to ensure you are eating enough to support your goals! If this type of coaching resonates with you, then we are likely a good fit!
My unique approach to nutrition as an RD is rooted in education that leads to lifelong sustainable change. We'll work on creating a positive relationship with food, identify your wellness goals, and create a personalized plan that fits into your lifestyle. My goal is to help you achieve lasting results by focusing on what nourishes your body and your life so you never have to diet again! With that said, it's important to remember that this is a journey, specifically when it's a sustainable one!
