Amanda Pasko, RD

To me, nothing is more rewarding than helping others to reach their goals. I strive for everyone I work with to leave each conversation with each of their concerns and goals addressed, with clear and unique action steps. I have experience covering a range of health goals and additional experience with sport nutrition, exercise, sleep, improving energy levels, FODMAP, lab testing, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and meal planning for both individuals and families. 

I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology & Sports Medicine from Rice University, a Master’s in Science in Nutritional Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Master’s in Nutrition from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. I gained experience in inpatient and outpatient settings at five hospitals, as well as in the university setting, and I knew the private practice setting would be the greatest opportunity to help others in my specific areas of expertise and provide highly individualized support. 

My pursuits in nutrition are closely tied to my pursuits in track and field, where I compete nationally and internationally, including in the first World Championship for women in the decathlon. Nutrition played a major role in progression in my sport, and I almost never hear a question or concern I have not personally experienced. Outside of nutrition and track, I love spending time with friends and family, traveling to new places and trying local cuisine, and spending time outside. I have a goal to do a track meet in all 50 states and visit each National Park in the US.
