I’m an intuitive eating Registered Dietitian and owner of Nutrition Therapy & Wellness Co. who works with those who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting and anyone in the pursuit of wellness with a non-restrictive eating approach. As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I also enjoy taking a non-restrictive, non-weight-centric approach to diabetes management.
As a dedicated intuitive eating dietitian, I’m here to guide you on a journey that celebrates your body and your choices, free from the constraints of diet culture and other disordered mindsets. My approach is straightforward: I believe that every individual deserves to nourish themselves in a way that feels good, both physically and emotionally. Together, we will explore the principles of intuitive eating—learning to listen to your body’s hunger cues and understanding the role of emotions in food choices.
Food, eating, movement and body image are intertwined with social justice. Many of us have faced pressure to conform to a certain ideal, often influenced by race, gender, and socioeconomic status. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment that uplifts all bodies, acknowledging that every person’s relationship with food is influenced by their personal history and the societal context in which they live. My mission is to dismantle harmful narratives around weight and worth, empowering you to reclaim your autonomy over your body and your plate.
I provide creative and individualized care. Our sessions could include nutrition education and counseling, discussing and dissecting diet culture, meal planning, basic culinary and food safety instruction, meal or snack support (eating together), food or eating challenges, developing or practicing coping strategies for disordered behaviors and anything else we come up in support of your goals.
In our work together, you can expect honesty and transparency. I won’t sugarcoat the challenges that come with unlearning diet culture, disabling disordered behaviors or the not-so-great parts of the healing process, but I promise to stand by your side as you navigate all of it. We’ll celebrate your victories, no matter how small, and confront the obstacles that arise with compassion and clarity. This journey is about more than just food; it’s about embracing your whole self, advocating for your needs, and cultivating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
