Hi, I’m Anna!
I am a Registered Dietitian specializing in nutrition therapy for chronic illness. I completed my undergraduate and M.S. in nutrition at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, and have spent my time as a dietitian working primarily in inpatient settings. With my clinical nutrition experience, I can help you translate hospital-based recommendations to your everyday life.
After meeting with me, I aim for my clients feel confident in their food choices and their progress. There will be no need for calorie counting or daily weights on the scale. All foods can be part of a balanced diet - eating well does not have to be a sacrifice!
I offer nutrition counseling for a variety of conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, GI disorders, wound healing, cancer, and nutrition support. I am also more than happy to help with optimizing your diet for general health. My approach is founded on evidence-based research, patience, empathy, and encouragement. Each session will always be tailored to you as an individual, with careful thought devoted to medical, religious, cultural, or personal dietary preferences.
While I have been vegan for 7 years, you can count on me to respect the foods you do or do not consume. I do encourage a plant-forward approach for optimal mind, gut, and heart health. If you would like to transition into a plant-based diet, I will be the perfect fit to help you be sure you are still meeting all your nutritional needs.
I look forward to meeting you!
