Hi! My name is Annie and I'm a Registered Dietitian.
I believe health looks different for every person and we all require a different approach to look and feel our best. I utilize science-based approaches to create a positive environment to incite change for my clients. I understand how intimidating starting out can be and will work with you to make lasting lifestyle changes and build habits for life-long health.
I completed my bachelor’s in Human Food and Nutrition at West Virginia University. I then went on to the University of North Florida to complete my master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics along with a 1200-hour dietetic internship. I have gained experience in a variety of areas, including cardiovascular rehab, bariatrics, in-patient acute care, long-term care, and working with community-based programs.
I grew up with a family that didn’t prioritize health or healthy eating. I was left to sort out information myself which led to disordered eating behaviors and struggles with my body and self-confidence. I understand how hard it can be to break habits and learn what “healthy” looks like for you This journey has given me a spark to help others experiencing the same issues.
I love cooking (and eating), especially when I can share my creations with others. I enjoy time outdoors with my dog, whether that’s our afternoon walk or a day on the beach. I’m also an avid weightlifter and love the feelings strong and powerful.
I look forward to working together soon!
