You can expect to take away a sense of self-empowerment, supportive guidance, and an individualized approach toward goal setting. You can expect a tailored nutrition care plan to help you reach your goals.
My core approach stems from empathy, trauma-informed care, and realistically sustainable changes. I work closely with my clients to cultivate tailored nutrition plans to ensure that changes are sustainable for long-term and short-term goals. I am a proud CODA (child of a deaf adult). My skill level in American Sign Language is intermediate. I grew up in a household speaking two languages. My mother immigrated to the US and assimilated into American Culture. Nature, water, and animals are three things that are grounding. I enjoy hillside hikes along the Pacific coastline on a nice sunny day. I have an affinity for visiting botanical gardens.
I have a diverse background and family, which inherently allows me to connect the client's culture + cuisine+ lifestyle choices.
CSULA Cum Laude 2022 graduate BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. LBCC 2021 dean’s list honors graduate AS in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Before becoming an RD, I worked inpatient for 1.5 years as a diet aid technician within the disordered eating population. I enjoy helping clients rebuild their relationship with food by implementing Health At Every Size and through intuitive eating practices.
As RD is eligible, I held the honor of working with low-birth weight high-risk infants within the NICU population. I am wholeheartedly thrilled to provide nutrition counseling to new moms who are challenged with gestational diabetes and or preeclampsia.
As a clinical RD, the past year has been significantly rewarding and helping others is extremely validating! I work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure your nutritional needs are optimized in the critical care setting.
