Background
I started my career in healthcare as a Hospital Corpsman (medic) in the US Navy. After my 5 years of service I was honorably discharged and went back to school. I earned my BS degree in Nutrition and Food Science at California State University, San Bernardino. From there, I decided to earn my MS at Loma Linda University where I also did my internship. I then moved on to get my first RD job at Pomona Valley Medical Center where I worked for 2 year and then moved on to becoming a Renal Dietitian for the next 7 years up until 2024. Currently I have now come back to the hospital where enjoy very much the acute care setting.
