Carol Annette Adams, RD

Annette Adams, a registered dietitian nutritionist, received her undergraduate degree in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama. Following her undergraduate program, she earned her Master of Dietetic Administration (MDA) degree through Utah State University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Education for Health Professions. Annette is also board-certified in renal nutrition, specializing in the management of kidney-related conditions through targeted dietary interventions customized for her diverse clientele.

She enjoys continued learning and sharing that knowledge with others through workshops, creating resources, and public speaking. In 2022, Annette teamed up with a fellow dietitian to create the RE: Nutrition Podcast. This podcast is a great resource for individuals struggling with their relationship with food and body as well as for clinicians who work with them. In this podcast, they discuss all things nutrition from basic food science to current health trends to the management of chronic medical and mental health conditions.

Annette’s mission is to create a safe space to explore a positive relationship with food free from stigma and bias and to support individuals in their journey to well-being. Her vision of the future is a society that has reclaimed the joy of food and supports disease management and well-being without chronic dieting or disordered eating.
