I am big on eating "closer to the earth" because that is where the best nutrients come from and how our bodies work most synergistically.
I went to Michigan State University and have been a Registered Dietitian since 2011. I became an RD because of my passion for nutrition and how the body utilizes food to function to its fullest potential, and I could not imagine a different life path for me.
I love cooking, especially vegetarian foods, and get inspiration from some Food Network originals such as Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis, and Ina Garten. I have been practicing Bikram yoga for over 17 years, which definitely keeps me accountable for my health. I am also an avid golfer, which help with me with patience and the ups and downs of life. I currently reside in beautiful Northern Michigan.
