When working with each client, I take a very individualized approach. Some may benefit from more structure: tracking their intake and setting specific macronutrient goals; others may be suited for a more intuitive eating approach that focuses on improving one’s relationship with food, while still building a balanced foundation that meets their nutritional needs. It all depends on the individual’s health history, relationship with food, goals, habits, schedule, and preferences. One of my favorite things about the work I do is learning about each client and working alongside them to build a plan that makes the most sense for them.
I have a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In my six years as a dietitian, I have helped dozens of clients to improve their blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure; lose weight; manage digestive symptoms; and improve their relationship with food. So if you need some guidance and companionship on your journey to better nutrition, let’s connect!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, hiking, lifting weights, and caring for my numerous houseplants. 🙂
