My name is Danielle DiCristofano and I am an alum of the University of Dayton (go Flyers!) and the University of Wisconsin Madison. My dietetic internship was through The California Department of State Hospitals – Napa with a focus in mental health nutrition. I have worked with patients with various mental health disorders, diabetes, heart health, general wellness, eating disorders, and am currently working with adolescents and teenagers. My goal is to empower you with understanding and help get you to a place where food and nutrition is not a source of stress but is truly something positive to help support you and your health and wellbeing. Nutrition should be something that fuels you to do what you love, rather than seen as a chore. Having Italian-immigrant parents has made me love learning about food culture from around the world. When I am not working, I am traveling, eating my way through Chicago, and cuddling with my dog, Murphy!
