Hi there! I’m really glad you’re here and applaud your curiosity and motivation to learn more about how nutrition can improve your wellbeing.
I became interested in nutrition after facing some health challenges that forced me to change the way I ate. As I made improvements to my diet, I was shocked at what a difference it made physically and mentally. I had more energy, slept better, felt more alert, and was generally in a better mood. I became fascinated with the ways that food affects physical and mental health and eventually decided to turn my interests into a career. I got a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University and went on to gain experience in hospitals and in sports nutrition, high-risk obstetrics, bariatric surgery, kidney disease, and diabetes management. I also studied Nutrition and Behavior from Bournemouth University where I learned more about the intersection of nutrition and mental health and conducted research into the Mediterranean diet and postpartum depression
My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment and provide you with the tools to feel confident and empowered to make decisions on how to eat to feel your best. You’ll leave our sessions feeling well-informed with actions items that fit into your lifestyle and goals. Bring your questions, concerns, and sense of humor and let’s do this together!
