I’ve always believed that food is more than just fuel. It has the power to heal, energize, and enhance your quality of life. My passion for nutrition stems from personal experience. Growing up, I saw how kidney disease, heart disease, and diabetes affected my own family. Though I never met my grandfather, I heard countless stories about how he suffered from kidney disease. Those stories stuck with me, reinforcing how important nutrition is in preventing and managing chronic illnesses. That’s why I made it my life’s mission to help others take control of their health before disease takes control of them.
With both undergraduate and master’s degrees from California State University Long Beach and a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition from the University of Kansas Medical Center, I have the knowledge and expertise to provide science-based, practical guidance tailored to your individual needs. My experience spans over a decade in skilled nursing facilities, where I witnessed firsthand how chronic conditions like diabetes impact not only health but also independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Seeing patients struggle with the consequences of uncontrolled diabetes motivated me to establish my private practice so I could help individuals prevent and manage these conditions before they reach a critical stage.
