I am a Spanish bilingual dietitian and diabetes educator who has provided medical nutrition therapy and diabetes education for over 20 years. I received a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College (CUNY) in New York in 2002. I have been a certified diabetes care and education specialist for 15 years.
My experience includes working in hospitals and ambulatory clinics and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults.
I am passionate about diabetes type 1 in children and adults, as well as diabetes type 2 and weight management. My previous work experience includes clients newly diagnosed with diabetes type 1, diabetes type 2, school health nutrition, and general nutrition. I am excited to get to know new clients and join their self-improvement health journey.
I live in Florida and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and listening to music on my time off.
"I am passionate about helping clients feel empowered to make small consistent changes that will lead to improved overall health. Change takes time and having someone to there every step of the way is important. I look forward to have the opportunity to get to know my clients and support them during their individual healthy journey."
