Erica is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating for ages 12 and older. She completed her dietetic internship and earned a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of New Hampshire and received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Nutrition at California State University, Chico. She has always had a passion for nutrition counseling and believes that her personal experience with disordered eating and trauma has allowed her to be a more empathetic, compassionate, and realistic dietitian. She has worked with clients through multiple levels of care and has been told that her ability to hold space for clients’ authentic selves while simultaneously challenging and empowering them has led to their success in recovery. In sessions, she uses non-diet and trauma-informed approaches and focuses on adding variety and creating flexibility to meals while also helping to achieve peace in the body. She puts the client in the driver’s seat and sessions are tailored to what her client wants to focus on. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, trail running, watching movies, and learning new skills. She was born in California and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
