Erin Palma has worked in the field of nutrition and the food industry for 25 years. Initially she studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University. She then went on to study nutrition at Syracuse University. She specializes in complex medical needs, Diabetes, Eating disorders, GI disorders, tube feeding, weight loss and is comfortable working with a variety of clients.
She often intertwines her two passions in Culinary Nutrition and Functional Integrative Nutrition. In addition, she is a certified Diabetes Educator and Specialist and an herbalist. Her current passions are lifestyle modification and counseling, Culinary Nutrition, Diabetes prevention, and management. She has served on the Genesee Dietetic Association Board, is part of the Diabetes Educators Association, Functional and Integrative Nutrition Practice group, a parent advocate for the Rochester Regional Center for Autism, Community Advisory Council for URMC and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
She enjoys spending time outdoors and keeps active with several hobbies including running, boating, camping, and watching sporting events with her husband and five children.
