Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. As a dietitian, I believe that nutrition should be for everyone. I aim to make nutrition more accessible and approachable for my patients and clients. I like to think of my approach as combining the best of my clinical experience with a healthy dose of compassion. Nutrition is lifelong, so we’ll focus on sustainable changes that promote long-term health. I also practice from a weight-neutral standpoint, meaning that we’ll use successful behavior change, not weight, as our outcome. I believe in a non-diet approach that focuses on overall patterns of eating rather than restriction. My areas of focus include pre-diabetes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, GI disorders, and disordered eating/eating disorders. If this sounds like something that might fit for you, let’s work together! And now, a bit about me: after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics and working in finance for a few years after college, I decided to make a major pivot and chase after what I was passionate about: nutrition and health. I completed my dietetics courses at New York University and then my dietetic internship at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Hospital in the Bronx, NY. The internship provided me with incredibly meaningful clinical experience and gave me exposure to a highly diverse patient population. I also recently completed my master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics at NYU. In my free time, you can find me scoping out the best slice of pizza in Brooklyn with my husband, rooting for the Yankees, or hanging out with my tabby cat, Yogi (named after Yogi Berra, of course).
