Hi, I’m Heather. Food is my passion, I love to eat, cook and talk about food. Once I get going, it’s hard to stop (both eating and talking).
People say I’ve been blessed with good genes, but that’s not true at all (both of my parents died early due to poor lifestyle habits) and I struggle just like everyone else. Lifestyle habits, both chosen and naturally occurring (menopause), can created a black hole that you feel you can’t get out of.
I stumbled upon the Blood Type Diet when I was struggling as a young mother. It was a game changer for me. When I first started following the guidelines, traditional dietitians thought I was crazy but as time goes by, and science advances, there is more and more evidence supporting blood type nutrition support.
It is amazing to witness when one food acts like a medicine and heals one person, but acts like a poison for someone else. Being gluten sensitive I witness this first hand. Taking a holistic approach, creating SMART goals and taking one day at a time is how I can help you reach your goals.
I am a Framingham State (College) University graduate and have worked throughout New England as both a Registered Dietitian and a ServSafe Instructor / Proctor. I have had my own private practice and consulting business for years and continue to love the field of Nutrition.
