I am a bilingual (Japanese/English) Registered Dietitian based in Los Angeles, with over a decade of experience across acute care, long-term care, outpatient counseling, and telehealth. My work has allowed me to support individuals with diverse health conditions, while also understanding the realities of daily life that influence how people eat.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked with patients managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other complex medical needs. At the same time, I have provided nutrition education in community and multicultural settings, where cultural background, family structure, and personal values play a central role in shaping food choices.
This combination of clinical and real-world experience has shaped how I see nutrition care. I recognize that effective nutrition therapy requires not only evidence-based knowledge, but also the ability to adapt to each person’s unique lifestyle, preferences, and environment.
My background also reflects a multicultural perspective. As a Japanese dietitian practicing in the United States, I bring an understanding of how cultural identity and food traditions influence health behaviors. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported in making changes that feel both realistic and meaningful.
Across all settings, my goal has remained consistent: to help individuals navigate nutrition in a way that is both clinically appropriate and practically sustainable in their everyday lives.
Providing personalized care for patients with complex nutrition needs, including enteral or parenteral nutrition, dysphagia, and therapeutic diets.
Can discuss the role of complementary products, including doTERRA, as part of an overall nutrition plan when appropriate
My approach is shaped by both clinical training and real-life experience. I follow evidence-based guidelines, but I also understand how difficult they can be to apply in daily life. I help you build a way of eating that fits your routine, culture, and preferences. Instead of aiming for a perfect diet, we focus on small, sustainable changes that you can continue. I believe food is more than nutrients—it’s how we support and care for the whole person.
