Hello, I’m Ibrahim! I'm a dedicated and passionate Registered Dietitian, committed to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness through evidence-based nutrition strategies.
I believe in a comprehensive and tailored approach to nutrition, emphasizing the science of food and the role of lifestyle choices in achieving long-term health goals. My philosophy is centered on providing clients with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to achieve long-term changes tailored to their specific requirements, preferences, and life circumstances. Whether it's through creating meal plans, offering one-on-one counseling, or maximizing athletic performance, my goal is to make nutrition accessible, enjoyable, and motivating for everyone. I'm also a mental health advocate who believes that having a strong mind-body connection is essential for general well-being.
What excites me most about being a Registered Dietitian is the ability to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. I take pride in being a trusted partner in my clients’ journeys, guiding them with empathy and evidence-backed expertise. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals feel empowered to take control of their health, set achievable goals, and ultimately thrive.
I hold a Master of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University. My professional experience spans a variety of settings, including clinical nutrition, infant and pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, outpatient counseling, and community outreach, where I have worked with diverse populations ranging from children to seniors, and from athletes to individuals managing chronic health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about fostering a positive relationship with food, cultivating mindful eating practices, and promoting self-care. Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, playing soccer and pickleball, and spending time with my friends, family, and dog.
