Life can get busy and it can be challenging to prioritize your overall health sometimes. I get it. I want you to think of me as your go-to gal for all things food-related. As we work together I want you to feel heard and educated so we can improve your health with simple yet sustainable goals.
My passion for dietetics came from navigating through personal food sensitivities, GI stress, chronic migraines, and using food as medicine. I received my degree in dietetics from the University of Kentucky. My experiences, from working with families at the WIC clinic to long-term care facilities, provided me with a well-rounded approach to how nutrition impacts us at each stage of life.
My love for food grew from watching cooking shows and learning to cook from a young age. However, I didn’t realize how much nutrition meant to me until I took Nutrition 101 and was hooked on learning how food impacts our health as a whole. Since then, I dove into all things nutrition and here we are today.
In my free time, you will find me in the kitchen tweaking recipes found on Pinterest, out shopping for cool finds at second-hand shops, or somewhere outdoors with my husband and our dog. But when given any chance I get you will find me out traveling and exploring this beautiful earth.
My goal is to help others heal and encourage positive relationships with food. I want this to be a safe space to discuss anything that influences your relationship with food. So let’s get together and talk about how I can be there for you!
