I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach and firmly believe and understand that food choices can be intertwined with unique emotions, stress, self-image, trauma, and life experiences. Creating a safe and empathetic space for clients to explore their habits, feelings, and thoughts about food is my first priority. Through addressing emotional components and barriers, clients can begin to make lasting and positive changes in their relationship with food.

Whatever you may be striving for; my approach goes beyond counting calories or macros and focuses on balanced sustainable dietary solutions that fuel each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe that the key to achieving results is not in deprivation, but in making mindful decisions that foster a harmonious relationship with food.
I have worked in various roles since beginning my career in 1998, including acute and long-term care, WIC, personal trainer/nutrition counselor in a fitness facility, telephonic health coach, and have been in private practice since 2009. In addition to my professional experience, I also possess practical life experience, as I am a self-proclaimed work in progress. My journey began with a deep curiousity about the profound effect of food on my body and has turned into a lifelong commitment to understanding the intricate connection between aligning food choices with one's unique requirements and optimal physical health and mental well-being.
Outside of being a registered dietitian, my four children keep my husband and I quite busy. A fun fact about me is that I love working out at 5 am when the world is dark and quiet, this habit helps me to set the tone and intention for my day and I have learned that it doesn't work well for me to skip it. My most favorite place to rest and relax is at the beach with my people; sun, sand, and salt water is definitely where it's at for me!
