I strive to empower individuals to adopt and sustain health-promoting behaviors that lead them towards a healthier and happier life. I believe in making nutrition accessible and understandable, tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs. My recommendations are firmly rooted in evidence-based research, ensuring that every piece of advice is both realistic and scientifically supported.
Central to my practice is fostering a positive relationship with food and body. I emphasize a weight-inclusive approach, prioritizing health outcomes over numbers on a scale. By promoting body acceptance and self-care, I aim to help you develop a balanced and sustainable approach to eating.
In addition to nutrition guidance, I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques into my practice. This approach helps you challenge your inner narrative around food and body image, supporting you in developing healthier attitudes and behaviors. Through CBT, I work collaboratively with you to cultivate peaceful eating habits and achieve long-lasting wellness.
I am passionate about simplifying nutrition to support you in making informed choices that promote your overall well-being. By providing education, personalized guidance, and ongoing support, I will help you navigate your health journey with confidence and success.
Now a little bit about me: I earned my Master of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I have experience working in a variety of settings including clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, and outpatient eating disorder treatment. Outside of my career, I enjoy reading (anything historical fiction or fantasy), crocheting, snowboarding, and running outdoors.
