I am a Registered Dietitian who earned a Bachelor’s in Human Nutrition from Southern Utah University in 2016. From there, I went to Utah State University to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and complete my training as a dietitian. I have gained over 3 years of experience working in dietetics. I currently work in a Weight and Metabolic Health clinic and help patients improve these aspects through better eating and lifestyle habits.
I became a Registered Dietitian because I wanted to help people. I also love food and eating! I like to cook and try different recipes and share them with my family—even though they may think I’m a little crazy.
We all come from different walks of life, so I focus on where you are coming from. In meeting with me, we will discuss some background information, including any relevant family history or medical history, past diets or diet programs you have done, your current eating habits, and what health goals you want to accomplish. Next, you and I will discuss diet and nutrition recommendations related to your health concerns and develop a plan for you. Lastly, you and I will discuss setting goals and plans to reach those goals.
In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports. My favorites are basketball, football, and golf. They have always been a big part of my life and I enjoy playing them with my family. In fact, I give credit to sports as one of the reasons my wife consented to marry me. My wife and I have 3 kids and they are quite the energetic little people! They love to wrestle with me and I love it. Despite the temper tantrums, the messiness, and the time and effort they take to raise, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Let the gray hairs come as they may!
