In a world flooded with aimless nutrition and health information, I am a source of sensible protocols and interventions. Clients can expect to walk away from our sessions with more freedom and hope in improving their health in a foundational, lasting way.
I have improved my own health and life in many ways through nutrition. I’ve been investigating holistic health and functional medicine for over a decade. My perspective has evolved and become more moderate over the years, and this has allowed me to appreciate the more evidence-based strategies of health promotion.
I’m conscientious and transparent. I help people save time and money by questioning fads and highlighting uncertainties in the field. I help my clients prioritize and simplify their health goals. I help them work effectively with other health care providers when needed.
I’ve worked in many different settings in dietetics including hospitals, long term care, outpatient care, community nutrition, local food systems/farms, and functional medicine. These experiences have helped me become a balanced, thoughtful dietitian. I have set myself apart by becoming an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP), which is the most regarded credential in the field. I have many subscriptions and tools for my practice to help me make great clinical decisions for my clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy exercise, playing basketball, music, gardening, cars, home improvement, and traveling.
In summary, I decided to become a dietitian to improve my own health and help others do the same. I started my own nutrition practice to have the freedom and time to deliver precisely what clients need.
