In my practice, I provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for the prevention and management of a diverse range of health conditions. My areas of focus include: weight management, disordered eating, women's health, diabetes, IBS, general lifestyle changes, and more.
Since nutrition-related health issues and comorbidities rarely exist in isolation, I see clients of all types. I see you as a unique person with a specific set of wants, needs, and goals. With nutrition, as in other areas of life, there is no such thing as “perfect.” I believe that, in order to achieve your health goals, you shouldn’t be limited by strict food rules that hold you back from living your best life. When working with me, you can expect your viewpoint on health and nutrition to be challenged. The “ideal diet” looks different for everyone, and I like to explore what kind of diet changes work best for each individual I counsel.
Having struggled with weight, body image, and an array of hormonal and digestive issues, I pivoted my career trajectory from marketing to nutrition with the goal of improving the lives of others. I obtained my Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at New York University’s Steinhardt School, the final year of which I interned for a holistically-minded private practice on Cape Cod. While there, I balanced clinical rotations with agriculture and sustainability projects. Having grown up in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire and spending my early adult years in Brooklyn, I consider myself to be both a small-town New Englander as well as a New Yorker.
That being said, I love working with a diverse range of clients who can bring unique perspectives and experiences into the dietetics field. There is no need to fit into a box, and I never group an individual based on their health concerns or conditions. What’s more: No single person is the same—whether you are struggling to lose weight and keep it off, balance your hormones, regulate your digestive system, manage a chronic disease, or merely want to live a healthier life.
Trust me, I want you to see and feel a difference through our sessions together. I know it can be intimidating, especially if you feel like you're going to be reprimanded by the food police. Trust me, that’s not what I’m here to do! That being said, expect to receive science-backed guidance that is tailored to your needs. Let’s achieve your health goals—together.
