My goal and philosophy are to focus on wholesome lifestyle changes, help the community transform and promote well-being through education with an emphasis on whole foods, simplified cooking, and overall empowerment to gain quality of life everyone deserves through one-on-one counseling. Working in a variety of dietetic settings, I come with nutrition knowledge, high motivation, adaptability, cooperation and accountability. With current hands-on renal experience at the dialysis center and the rigorous academic background from Bastyr University (Seattle, Washington) getting Master of Science in Nutrition with Didactic Program in Dietetics, focusing on a holistic, integrative approach to healing and the well-rounded experiences, I bring nutrition knowledge, compassion, dedication, cultural competency, interpersonal skills, and adaptability. I strongly believe in public education and providing clients and families with all the tools necessary to be successful in this lifestyle change of nutrition, exercise, well-being and stress management.
"I have strong interests in disease prevention & mitigation of potential complications of chronic kidney disease, diabetes & cardiovascular disease using motivational interviewing for behavior change, education on benefits of whole foods, exercise, & integrative healing perspectives for self-care such as mindfulness, stress management, meditation/yoga. I educate clients of all ages on healthy eating plans, weight-management & nutritional goals tailored to everyone’s individual needs."
