Welcome! I’m Katherine, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist passionate about helping people take control of their health through personalized, practical nutrition.
With a strong foundation in both clinical and private practice, I specialize in gastrointestinal (GI) health, liver disorders, and sustainable weight management. I’ve had the privilege of working in high-acuity hospital settings—including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Parkridge Hospital—as well as long-term care and now in my own private practice at Berry Street. These diverse experiences have shaped my comprehensive, client-centered approach to care.
I’m Monash University FODMAP Certified and licensed across multiple states, which allows me to work with clients virtually nationwide. Whether it’s navigating complex conditions like SIBO, IBS, GERD, Celiac disease, or finding balance with weight and wellness, I help clients cut through the noise and focus on what actually works—backed by science, tailored to your life.
My clinical background includes extensive work in nutrition support, including tube feeding (enteral) and IV nutrition (parenteral), as well as designing individualized care plans alongside multidisciplinary medical teams. I’m all about turning complicated nutrition science into realistic strategies people can actually use.
My Approach to Care
I believe nutrition should feel empowering—not overwhelming. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and highly personalized. I don’t hand out generic meal plans or rigid rules. Instead, I help you understand why certain changes matter, and how to make them work in the context of your lifestyle.
I take the time to learn what matters to you—your goals, your challenges, your preferences. From virtual grocery store tours to supplement support via Fullscript, I equip you with the tools, education, and encouragement you need to move forward with confidence.
The best nutrition plans are the ones that are sustainable, evidence-based, and tailored to real life. That’s what I aim to deliver in every session.
What to Expect in Your First Session
Our first session is all about understanding you. We’ll dive into your health history, current symptoms, lab work, medications, lifestyle, food preferences, and past experiences with nutrition. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition or just want to feel better in your body, this session sets the stage for a plan that’s effective, realistic, and completely customized.
By the end of the session, you’ll have:
A clear understanding of how nutrition supports your health goals
Personalized, evidence-based recommendations you can begin using right away
A plan for next steps—whether that’s reviewing labs, exploring supplements, or scheduling follow-up support
I know health journeys can feel confusing and frustrating at times. My role is to simplify, support, and guide—with empathy, expertise, and a little bit of cheerleading when you need it most.
Let’s work together to build a path that works for you.
