Katie has worked in the clinical setting for 6 years. Her extensive background ranges from working with clients who have nutrition-related chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart conditions, cancer, organ transplants, kidney disease and gastrointestinal conditions, food allergies, sports nutrition, prenatal nutrition, home nutrition support (enteral/parenteral nutrition), and with individuals undergoing bariatric surgery. Katie loves to help her clients improve their relationship with food. She helps personalize diet recommendations based on her clients’ lifestyle factors and their “food culture" through evidence-based research. She believes that good health begins in the kitchen and that healthy cooking can be easy and convenient for everyone – and fun, too.
