My name is Katie and I am a self professed nutrition nerd. I have studied Dietetics & nutrition for over 10 years now and hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics. Aside from my education, I have experienced the many wonders of good nutrition first-hand, as I did not always have the healthiest habits in the past. It was not until I began studying nutrition on my own and applying it to my life that I actually found my true passion within the field. I believe that my personal experience on my health journey is just as meaningful as my education and professional experience. My nutrition philosophy centers around mindful eating and balance. I whole-heartedly believe that good health - better yet, AMAZING health! - can be achieved through a balanced lifestyle. Barring certain health conditions, you can ensure no foods/food groups will be restricted while working with me. I will teach you simple steps to accomplishing major health goals; all while sticking to evidence-based, client centered nutrition education. I'm also here to help motivate and support you! It is my goal to see you not only succeed, but to triumph! In my spare time I enjoy weightlifting, doing yoga & Pilates, watching TV and going out to eat with my husband, and cuddling with my Cavalier Danny :)
