Background

Hi! I’m Kayla Compton, a Registered Dietitian dedicated to helping individuals develop a healthier relationship with food. My approach is personalized, realistic, and rooted in science—because nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and completed my dietetic training at Auburn University's Dietetic Internship program. With experience in clinical nutrition, I have helped individuals manage a variety of health conditions, including PCOS, diabetes, insulin resistance, gut health issues, and weight concerns. I stay up to date with the latest research and continuously expand my knowledge to provide evidence-based, practical guidance for my clients.

As someone who has PCOS myself, I understand firsthand the challenges it brings—unpredictable symptoms, weight fluctuations, cravings, and hormonal imbalances. I know how frustrating it can be to navigate all the conflicting advice out there, which is why I’m passionate about helping others find a sustainable, evidence-based approach that actually works. My goal is to help you take control of your health in a way that feels empowering, not restrictive.

I believe in a balanced, whole-person approach to nutrition that goes beyond just what’s on your plate. Health isn’t about strict diets or quick fixes—it’s about creating sustainable habits that support your overall well-being. My goal is to help you nourish your body, improve energy levels, and feel your best while still enjoying the foods you love.

I’ll provide science-backed guidance and practical strategies to help you make informed choices, reduce stress around food, and create a long-term, healthy relationship with nutrition.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking new recipes, trying new coffee spots, traveling, long walks, and spending time with family. I understand the importance of balance, and I strive to help my clients find theirs.
