Krystal George, RDN, LMFT is a Brooklyn, NY native, with a family heritage from the Caribbean. She is a master's level Registered Dietitian and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Krystal's passion for nutrition stems from seeing chronic illness (like Diabetes and heart disease) affect black and brown communities. This passion drove her to provide nutrition counseling and wellness education classes/courses to individuals who desire a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. She received her MPH in Nutrition at Loma Linda University, as well her MS in Marital and Family therapy. Her studies allowed her to add a therapeutic lens towards health, lifestyle, and relationships. At her core, Krystal enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, creating content about wellness, and exploring new cities. She has also collaborated with companies such as Quaker Oats, Shape Magazine, Women's Health, Eating Well, and Food and Nutrition Magazine. Ultimately Krystal's desire is to help people live a full, and healthy life by developing sustainable lifestyle habits.
"I have a bio-psycho-social approach to nutrition and health. With my background in behavioral health, and nutrition, this allows me to understand how an individual's biology, mental state, and social health impacts their quality of life and eating habits. Together we can build new habits that can help you feel nourished, energized and happy. No more fear around social eating events! Your eating and lifestyle habits should be able to last you a lifetime, not just a few weeks or months."
